Independent market research carried out on behalf of CWCS Managed Hosting has confirmed the importance of reliability, security and scalability to users of hosting services. The research, which polled Senior IT Professionals in small and medium sized businesses in the UK, showed that just over half consider reliability and uptime as the most important aspect of a hosted solution.
While reliability was the most popular factor, the survey also showed that security and scalability were important, coming second and third, respectively. This is good news for CWCS and our customers, as our high uptime guarantees, ISO 27001 certification, flexible solutions and high quality technical support demonstrates we continue to deliver what the market demands.
The survey also revealed that the majority of purchasers would prefer the data centres they use to be located in the UK. This was a UK survey so that is perhaps not surprising, with just over a quarter saying they have no preference about data centre location.
