CWCS Managed Hosting can offer server clustering to add extra resilience and fail-over for your solution. When two or more physical servers are connected together, we can offer an auto fail-over solution so that if one server was to fail, the other server would then ensure that your service stays online.

A dedicated server can fail on rare occasions, which will cause downtime to your website while hardware is being replaced. By having a cluster of dedicated servers, you are guaranteed high availability, added resilience and 0% downtime ensuring that your mission critical website or application is always online and always available to your clients.

Load Balancing Solutions

Clustered servers also enable load balancing, so if one of your servers has reached maximum resource limit, another server is standing by to balance the load and reduce the amount of strain on a physical piece of hardware. If your site experiences huge bursts in traffic, whether it be due to seasonal traffic or in response to a marketing campaign, you need to know that your site will be able to cope during busy periods, as if it goes down during peak times, your customer won’t come back. This is where load balancing is essential to prevent this sort of thing happening.
