The CWCS public cloud is a cost effective virtual hosting solution that gives you more flexibility than standard dedicated hosting which allows you to scale up to a solution with the performance of a dedicated server, without the expense of physical hardware. It is a resilient solution with the freedom to upgrade or reduce your resources on demand, giving you complete control over your environment. It is also an affordable solution as you only pay for what you use.

High Availability Solution

With the CWCS cloud, you are guaranteed a solution with high availability. Our public cloud is based around multiple clustered physical servers and multiple redundant HP storage SAN's which provide the foundation for all our customers virtual environments (or VPC - Virtual Private Clouds). Using the latest and most intelligent VMWare software, our cloud is self-healing and self-aware by monitoring the resource usage on the cloud and distributing the load across the physical servers to ensure optimum performance of the CWCS Cloud. If a server were to fail then you experience 0% downtime as the Cloud will distribute all the VPC's on to the other servers whilst the failed server is being repaired. This is where the cloud becomes a solution with the highest availability, even more so than a traditional dedicated server.

What is the difference between Public and Private Cloud?

With the public cloud, it is divided into multiple virtual environments that are shared with other users, allowing each user to scale up and down based on their requirements. For a mission critical website with high volumes of traffic, or if a more complex hosting solution is required, we can offer a private cloud, which is created individually for one user, giving them unlimited access to all the available resources in their private cloud.
