The launch of Windows Server 2008 R2 stirred up the whole Windows server vs Linux server debate once again, causing many people to reconsider their choices.
For a start, Windows Server 2008 R2 is the first Windows server to use only 64-bit architecture. It also manages memory better by supporting Second Level Translation and Nested Page Tables.
